# Is There a Book App Where I Can Join Communities Based on Genres?

Yes. Tags on a catalogue are not a community. A community has a room, a culture, and a cost to leaving. Houses here tint the whole interface, keep a hall, and compete on a seasonal board. You swear once. That is closer to a guild than to a Goodreads shelf named “fantasy.”

**Can I join more than one genre community?**
